The Beyond Basics group offers adults effective evidence based treatment for OCD, specifically Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The group treatment format allows participants to connect with others who have lived experience, learn a variety of evidence based concepts and skills to apply to their unique needs & develop a long-term recovery plan, all at a reasonable cost. The 75-minute group will consist of didactic learning, experiential exercises, small group break-out periods, and development and feedback on your treatment plan. The group is facilitated by Ashley Annestedt, LCSW, clinical director of Beyond Borders CBT.
Due to licensing laws, the group is only open to residents of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho,Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas, Utah & various countries.
Online in the comfort of your home. All you need is a laptop, desktop, or tablet with video and audio & a good internet connection. You will be sent a Zoom invitation to join the group.
We are maintaining an interest list for this group. The group typically meets Tuesdays from 6:30pm-7:45pm CT for 8 weeks per series. If interested, please reach out and you'll receive updates as they become available.
$60 USD per group or $425 for the 8 week series. This includes 8 groups, applicable worksheets & treatment resources, and the option of joining the other participants for a non-facilitated weekly support group to further explore what is being taught and practiced in group. You can opt to be billed for the total cost or per group. We do not accept insurance, but are happy to give you a coded statement if you would like to submit a claim to your insurance company.
