Why Choose a Specialist?

Just like medicine has specialties—think dermatology for skin or cardiology for the heart—mental health has its own areas of expertise, too.

The conditions we treat, like OCD, Anxiety, Tics, and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, require more than general “talk therapy.” They call for evidence-based approaches that demand specific training and clinical experience. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're looking for both the right treatment and the right personal fit. We're here to make that process easier and would love the chance to connect and explore whether we’re a good match for your needs.

For a 15-minute no-cost consultation, please fill out the contact form, call, or email us.

What We Treat

OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder isn’t just about being “extra clean” or liking things a certain way—it’s a serious and often misunderstood condition that can deeply impact daily life. For many, OCD is isolating and exhausting, especially when others don’t truly understand what it feels like. While we can’t promise a quick fix or a cure, we can offer something real: hope, understanding, and a path forward. Using evidence-based treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), we help individuals and families find relief and reclaim meaningful lives. .

Tics & Tourettes

Sniffing, blinking, head jerks, humming—these are just a few examples of the many motor and vocal tics that can affect children and adults. If you or your child are living with tics or Tourette Syndrome, you may not have heard of CBIT (Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics)—but it could be a game-changer. CBIT is an evidence-based, front-line treatment that helps individuals manage tics and regain a sense of control in their daily lives. Despite its proven effectiveness, there are fewer than 450 certified CBIT providers worldwide—and we’re proud to have three of them on our team.

Learn how you can significantly reduce your tics through CBIT.

Trich & Skin Picking

Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs)—like hair pulling or skin picking—are more common than most people realize. If you or your child are struggling with these behaviors, you’re not alone, and support is available. One effective approach is ComB (the Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment), which helps identify the unique factors driving the behavior and offers practical strategies to increase awareness, develop a different relationship with the urge, and build healthier patterns, without shame or judgment.

Take the first step toward reducing your picking and pulling.

Anxiety & Related Disorders

Anxiety is a normal and natural human emotion — it’s not the enemy.** That might sound surprising, but anxiety itself isn’t the problem. What truly impacts our well-being is how we relate to it — the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that form around it. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, or specific phobias, the good news is: you can learn to work with your anxiety instead of against it. It’s time to reclaim your life and move forward with confidence.

PANDAS / PANS

We understand how confusing and overwhelming it can be when a child suddenly changes—whether it's intense anxiety, OCD behaviors, emotional outbursts, or tics that seem to come out of nowhere. Conditions like PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) can turn a family’s world upside down, often without warning. You're not alone, and help is available. We’re here to walk with you, offering compassionate support and evidence-informed care every step of the way.

In Their Own Words

Words cannot express my gratitude for Ashley. I found her during a time in my life when my whole world felt like it was turned upside down due to my anxiety. Having never experienced symptoms like this before, I felt completely lost. Ashley has a very caring and nurturing personality that helps put you at ease during your first conversation with her. Not only is she accepting, non-judgmental and totally approachable, she also knows what she's talking about. While having your best interest at heart, she helps you build the tools you need to overcome the thoughts and anxieties you're experiencing to help you move on with your life. Quit looking for a person to talk to about your anxieties. You found her. Ashley is your gal.
